What is mobile blogging?

Web-loggers, or bloggers, create online journals, posting ideas and commentary to the web using simple software which organises posts chronologically.

Mobloggers use their phones to post pictures, audio and video from their phones, tracking their lives and the things they see.

How does moblogging work?

  1. A picture or some video or audio is taken with a camera phone.

  2. The content is saved automatically and can be sent by MMS or email.

  3. A new message is created, text added and sent to a published email address or phone number.

  4. The message is received and the contents published, either on the user’s own blog, or on a promotional moblog. The user can make changes, others can comment and rate the post, etc.

What is a moblogging community?

As demonstrated by moblog:UK, moblogging is a very simple activity that encourages sharing and community. It’s quick and easy to post a picture, and it’s just as easy to view it and add a comment.

Our sites provide a lots of useful tools designed to encourage community, search, tagging, highlights, privacy tools and more.
